De Postbode© is our highly successfull and appreciated electronic newsletter that is delivered to your e-mail inbox more or less every week. It lists anything with a touch of Dutch in an around the Ottawa Valley region.
Typically all upcoming DCA events are listed but much more is to be found:
Several very active DCA-members work at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ottawa so you will frequently also read about Dutch topics of a more general nature or Canada wide scope, for example how to vote for upcoming elections in the Netherlands, changes in regulations, changes in obtaining a driver's license, the annual Holland Fest and other cultural events sponsored by the Embassy or even events in Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal where the consulates are located make their way into the De Postbode©. Note however: the DCA nor De Postbode© are an official 'spreekbuis' of the Embassy.

Just send an e-mail requesting us to add you to our mailing list to to subscribe (or unsubscribe). All we need is your e-mail address but please also include as a minimum your first name and surname, also a few words about yourself and how you discovered the DCA is appreciated.
And your privacy? Yes we take protecting your data seriously. Within the DCA only the 6 board members and De Postbode© mailman have access to our list of recipients and actually only 4 thereof know how to use the software to open the files. And no, we don't sell or hand over your contact data to anybody else.
Placing content in De Postbode© is as easy as subscribing. Just send an e-mail with the text of your listing to and Mr. Postbode does the rest, No deadlines, no restictions, as long as Mr. Postbode thinks your annoucement is suited for publication.
